State Will Be Seeking Death Penalty in Three Murder Cases

State Attorney Bill Eddins announces that the State Attorney’s Office will be seeking the death penalty in three murder cases currently pending in Okaloosa County.

 The first two involve Marcell Dior Richie and Richard Daniel Vaughn. Both have been indicted for First Degree Premeditated or Felony Murder and Attempted Home Invasion Robbery with a Firearm for the death of William Bowen who was killed on January 26, 2012 during the attempted home invasion at 35 Alder Avenue in Fort Walton Beach.

 The State will also seek the death penalty for Jerome Scott Parrish. Parrish has been indicted for First Degree Premeditated Murder for the April 22, 2012 stabbing death of his wife, Alissa Parrish, in their 308 East First Avenue home in Crestview.
