Attempt to Identify Suspect in Purse Theft and Fraud 

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect that stole a purse from a shopping cart at the Publix in Pace, FL.  The theft happened on 6/18/2012, while the victim was looking at merchandise and had her purse sitting in the cart, unattended. When the victim turned around, her purse was gone. Store surveillance video showed the suspect removing the purse from the victim’s cart and walking out of Publix.  The suspect later attempted to make numerous purchases with a credit card that was inside the victim’s purse.  The suspect is described as a white female, 20-30 years of age, dark hair, glasses, and noticeably pregnant.
