TS Debby – Here to Stay
TS Debby is not going anywhere soon. She is stationary in the Gulf of Mexico. The latest coordinates are 28.6N and 85.8W. She appears to have diminished slightly (55 mph winds) and has become less organized (pressure 993MB). Forecasters are still predicting that TS Debby will reach her peak strength on Wednesday. The Tropical Storm Warnings are now from the Alabama- Florida line to the Suwannee River. The storm watch is in effect from the Suwannee River to Englewood Florida.
TS Debby is expected to produce 10 to 15 inches of rain over the Florida panhandle. The Flash Flood threat is increased due to the already wet soil conditions and now this from Debby.
