JHS Cheerleaders Excell at Camp

Jay High Cheerleaders are excelling at the UCA cheer camp held at the University of Alabama.  The Varsity Cheerleaders are: Hannah Roberts, Sha Kinder, Jody Paramore, Sierra Mills, Kayla Flowers, Katy Bodiford, Kaitlyn Aguirre, Brook Tegenkamp, Brittany Tegenkamp, Harley Bradley, Morgin Mitchem, Alisha Roberts, Brittani Ashworth, Makenzie Bray, Kendra Wells.

The JV squad is: Alaina Smith, Leslie Kinder, Marisa Kirkland, Anna-Grace Smith, Savannah DuBose, Reilly Andrews, Miranda Roberts, Jescie Roberts, Madelyn Godwin, Danielle Harrington, Meghan Mayo, Taylor Scott, Savannah Seevers, Hope Miller, Emily Wright, Samantha Campbell, Courtney Walther, Launa Burkhead, Megan Mulford, and Rebecca Boutwell.

Five girls were selected for the  All  – American team: Hannah Roberts, Leslie Kinder, Kendra Wells, Alaina Smith, and Launa Burkhead.

Five girls from Jay have been selected for their Leadership and Kindness with a Pin It Forward Award.

They are: Kayla Flowers, Kaitlin Aguiree, Morgin Mitchem, Danielle Harrington, and Reilly Andrews.

The Varsity won the award for the best costume on Splash Day at the camp.

Both the Junior Varsity and Varsity squads have earned Superior Blue Ribbons for their Cheer Evaluations and Extreme Routine.  The Varsity Cheerleaders placed 2nd place in Home Pom, Cheer, and Extreme!
