Cancer Survivor Celebration on Survivors Day Sunday, June 24

Baptist Cancer Institute is hosting a cancer survivor celebration event in recognition of National Cancer Survivors Day, Sun., June 24, 2 to 4 p.m. at New World Landing, 600 South Palafox St., Pensacola.

Nationally recognized speaker and comedian, Scott Burton, who also is a cancer survivor, will speak at the event. He is sure to make you laugh and inspire you with his presentation and remind you of the empowerment of self-expression in everyday life.

You will be encouraged by his story of defeating cancer, overcoming fear and embracing life. There also will be refreshments and door prizes. Come join the celebration.
