William Albert Nelson

January 25, 1948 – June 8, 2012William Albert Nelson was taken by his Lord and Savior on June 8, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents – Ottis and Willie Mae Nelson. Albert is survived by his loving wife, Karen, of 24 years; daughter – Brandice Nelson Adams (Chad); sons – Howard Kirkland, Robert (Stephanie) Kirkland, and Brian Thomas; 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; 3 sisters – Gloria Butler, Clara Peacock, and Melia Boyd; 1 brother – Danny Nelson; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as a lot of friends and other family. Active pallbearers – Chip Daniels, Howard Kirkland, Robert Kirkland, Brian Thomas, Chad Sutton, Chad Holland, Christopher Barlow, and Lary Dunlap. Honorary pallbearers – Michael Butler, Ricky Butler, Gene Butler, and James Roberson. Brother Carraway and Brother Lassiter are officiating the service. Jay Funeral Hime is uncharged of the arrangements.
