Teen Driver Challenge July 27 – 28, 2012
The Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Office will be hosting a Teen Driver Challenge on July 27 and 28, 2012. The training consists of a one-night classroom portion in the main training room at the Sheriff’s Office. Students will be taught about vehicle dynamics and given real-life statistics and training relating to defensive driving, traffic crashes and DUI, among other things.
The second day of training will be taught by certified driving instructors at a pre-determined location. Students will provide their own motor vehicle for this training.
The training is open for all licensed drivers 16-19 years of age (no restricted license, however); they must reside in Santa Rosa County.
