Jay Elementary Reaches AR Goal
Jay Elementary students reached their annual Accelerated Reader Goal and Principal Dale Carnley had to kiss a donkey. The students worked hard to make this happen, but the ultimate reward is the hours they read. The students read 20,143 books and 115,452,966 words.
The overall winner was Avarie Jackson. Avery is in the 5th grade. She is the daughter of Taleah and Stephen Jackson.
Other winners include: K-Landon Kelley, 1-Hope Lashley, 2-Devin Sauls, 3-Emma Knowles, 4-Connor Roberts, 5-Avarie Jackson, and 6-Briannah Lowe.
