Pickup Crashes into Home

The Florida Highway Patrol is seeking your help.  On Saturday, June 2 in the  evening and unknown vehicle stuck a home in East Milton then  left the scene before the FHP arrived.

Vehicle 1 (V01)  was traveling southbound on Cathy Street approaching Red Brick Road near the railroad tracks. As Cathy Street ended, the driver of V01 failed to turn and continued to travel southbound onto the unpaved shoulder of Red Brick Road.

Subsequently, the front of V01 struck a “Bike Route” sign. V01 continued to travel southbound onto the private property at 7212 US 90 and the front of V01 struck the residence at 7212 US 90.

V01 fled the scene prior to my arrival and failed to leave any information. Based on tire tread, wheel base, and height of the damage to the residence, V01 is likely a pickup truck with significant front end damage.

Anyone with any information about this crash is asked to please call the Florida Highway Patrol at 850-484-5000.
