Students At JHS are Certified in CPR

Becky Holley  recently invited the  Santa Rosa EMS to come to the school and certify 70  HOPE students in CPR. Holley thinks it is a very valuable tool for these students to have. “I’ve tried to impress upon these kids how important it is to be prepared for any situation they could be possibly face”, Holley said.

This training and certification will enable them to be prepared for emergency situations in their personal life and also assist them in getting summer jobs.  The EMS team was very impressed with the attitude and behavior of these students as well as their desire for learning which speaks very highly of the students at JHS.

Very important skill to be taught at this age! Thank you Ms. Holley and all the staff that helped teach these children. My son enjoyed this class & assured me that he could now help save someone’s life. We could use more classes like this that teach skills needed for real life situations!
