Free Tennis Clinics Offered in Pensacola
Racquet Round-Up Tennis Clinics
The 35th Annual Racquet Round-Up presented by PSA Foundation and AGLA announced the dates for the four different free Tennis clinics throughout the area. Racquet Round Up is a series of free tennis clinics for children ages 6 – 12. The locations are as follows: William Hollice Park on North Hayne Street by Hunter Pool, June 6th, 8:00 – 10:00 for ages 6–8 and 10:00 – 12:00 for ages 9-12. Shoreline Park in Gulf Breeze June 8-9th, 8:00 – 10:00 for ages 6-8, and 10:00 – 12:00 for ages 9-12, Roger Scott Tennis Center June 13th,14th,15th 8:00 – 10:00 for children ages 6-8, 10:00 – 12:00 for children 9-12 and finally Pensacola Athletic Club on the Westside of town June 20th, 8:00 – 10:00 for ages 6-8, 10:00 – 12:00 for ages 9-12.
Pick up registration forms throughout the month of May at the Pensacola Sports Association, the YMCA at Langley, Roger Scott Tennis Center, Gulf Breeze Recreation Center at Shoreline Park in Gulf Breeze or the Pensacola Athletic Center or visit pensacolasports.com to download the registration form. The clinics are open to boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 12 and are absolutely free of charge. Enrollment will be limited at each location. A limited number of bags and water bottles are available per location for those registered by May 31. Arrive thirty minutes early to allow time to check-in/register.
The purpose and goal of the clinic is to promote the sport of tennis among the area youth. Sponsors, dedicated volunteers, and local tennis instructors allow the City of Pensacola, the City of Gulf Breeze, Pensacola Athletic Center and the Pensacola Sports Association to present this event at no cost to each child.
