Jay Historical Society Meeting
The Jay Historical Society Monthly Meeting will be Thursday, May 10th at 6:30 pm in the museum. Chubby Locklin is the guest speaker. Also Ms. Janice Watts will be there to sign her new book From…..The Heart of Jay. These books are on sale at the museum for $20.00 each. All proceeds go to the Jay Historical Society.
The first Training Day for museum volunteer is this Saturday 3pm to 5pm. If you are interested in learning more about our museum and everything in it come to the training. This will make it much easier if you are interested in being a volunteer for open hours and tours. It will be a lot of fun.
The Annual Veterans Memorial Day Service will be held at Mt. Caramel Church again this year. Vice President Sue Hendricks always has a wonderful ceremony. Please make an effort to come. You won’t regret it. It’s May 28, 2012 at 6 pm. Jane Hayes is helping us put on a Political Rally and Fish Fry this July, so mark it on your calendar.
This is just a few things going on with the Jay Historical Society. Come and be a part of it.
