New Physician Management Will Improve Patient Experience at ACH Emergency Room
ATMORE, Ala. (April 27, 2012) – The Emergency Department at Atmore Community Hospital will see improvements in the form of a new physician management group beginning May 1 st , 2012. Improved patient care and operating efficiency are key goals for the change.
Emergency Staffing Solutions will staff and manage the physicians in the emergency department at ACH. ESS, founded 2001 in Texas, focuses on rural and suburban areas and has a strong network of more than 1,000 physicians. They manage emergency departments and Hospitalist programs for more than 50 rural facilities across thirteen states.
ACH has worked closely with ESS to establish a strong working relationship in order to provide the best patient care possible. The patient’s experience in the emergency room is the top priority.
ESS is aligned with the primary goal of a patient’s total wellbeing, and shares ACH’s desire to serve the community as a health care leader. A person’s overall health is essential to quality of life and this will remain one of the primary goals of ACH.
John Tucker, administrator of Atmore Community Hospital, said the ACH team is excited about changes that will improve the patient experience in the emergency department. “Our focus has always been providing the best care for patients,” she said. “The partnership with ESS enhances our ability to serve patients and provide great quality, convenience and access.”
While ESS will bring in new faces to the emergency department, many of the current physicians will join the new group. For more information, call Atmore Community Hospital, at 251.368.2500 or visit AtmoreHospital.org.
