Celebrating Hope – Ordinary Heroes
Relay for Life will begin with a Survivor Reception at 4:30pm at the Merle V. North Stadium at Jay High School and continue to Saturday, April 21 at noon. At 6 pm there will be an opening ceremony with a welcome from Jody Williams and Tracey Burnham. The Relay for Life has something for everyone. From games to concessions. Come out and discover all the services that are available through the American Cancer Society and support local relief.
The American Cancer Society is the nationwide community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy and service.
Awards will be given in the following categories: Top 3 Fundraising Teams, Top 3 Campsites, Survivor’s Best Campsite, Most Laps: Team and Individual, and the Event Spirit Award.
