” Keep Your Eyes Open ” artist Teresa S. Hendricks, is a series of ongoing art capturing the essence of the local heritage. The past/present landmarks, antiques, and a way of life captured to preserve for the future. The art history of the community is so valuable. To capture it in all its form of color and character is the theme of her series. Each series will be presented as limited edition canvas giclees and prints. As each series is created Teresa  will post and give details on how you can own the art of our area. If you have landmarks or antiques to share please contact her. Each contributor receives free prints of the art and will be featured in an upcoming book. Some prints will be donated to the Jay Historical Society.  Look for a published book of the art next Spring 2013.

Description of attached art:

“Moo’s Station”  – First of the series “Moo’s Station,” named in honor of Moo Brown and family.   As we know this place is very historical. It will soon be taken down, but never forgotten. I wanted to capture some of the unique features that still remain. I have 2 other paintings I’m working on to go along with this.   I will have limited editions of each series in “Keep Your Eyes Open” soon.

“Tractor Trails” – Tractor Trails series originates from the small farm town of Jay, Florida. Even though Jay is a small town it has beautiful scenery, historic landmarks, and the life of the community makes this place a colorful palette for art. This is the first of the “Tractor Trails” series. Limited edition canvas gallery wrapped giclees numbered, signed, and comes with a certificate are available directly through the artist, if interested.

Prints are available online at http://www.artistrising.com/shop/artist/61470/teresa-s–hendricks-gallery.htm – more paintings/prints will be ready by the weekend.  If you would like to purchase the limited edition originals please contact Teresa S.
