5th Annual FRIENDS Talent Show
The 5th Annual FRIENDS Talent Show hosted at Jay High School. FRIENDS is a community organization dedicated to raising money to support scholarships for seniors, Rely For Life, and various other community needs. This the “premier fundraiser” . People’s Choice Award Winners of tonight’s show are: Overall: Berrydale Gophers, 1st Runner up: Reel Bass Busters ; 2nd Runner Up: Evolution of Dance by Tristan, Tessa, Abby and Big Baby Q.
The Talent Show had 15 Acts along with few extra performances for entertainment. The 2012-2013 Jay JV and Varsity Cheerleaders performed together for the first time at the show.
Performers were: Raychell Baker, Lola Ellsworth; Destiny Herring and Aniston McCall; Shyan Watson; Kristin Gilmore; Kolby Copeland; Heather Garcia w/ Tabitha Hoomes on the keyboard; Alison Russell; The Berrydale Gophers; Abby Harrison; Morgan Lewis; The Reel Bass Busters; Taylor Young, Rachel May and Tabitha Hoomes; Tristan, Tessa, Abby and Big Baby Q; Time of Calling: Sawyer Hudson, Cody Paramore, and Brandon Poley.
The crowd was entertained by Quentin Garcia and AJ Nash with a rendition of Beautiful and then Tessa and Abby performed “Taylor, the Latte Guy”.
The FRIENDS organization raised around $900.00 on the night.
