“Kiderpillar School” Spring Opening

Do you need an interesting and educational field trip?  “Kiderpillar School”, an award-winning educational program, is now accepting reservations for class field trips Monday through Wednesday beginning 23 April 2012.

Tour visits consist of a basic lesson on butterfly conservation, the life cycle and habits of the butterfly followed by a journey through the vivarium viewing live Florida butterflies, their nectar and host plants and a nursery featuring metamorphosis. Larger tours may have rotations on beneficial insects and the ecology of the Panhandle’s estuary.  Tours are offered on Pre-K, primary and intermediate levels. “Kiderpillar Tours” meet FCAT Sunshine Standards.  The PBH is located in Navarre County Park and has picnic facilities on park grounds.

To schedule a tour, go to our Website, http://panhandlebutterflyhouse.org/ and click the page “Come See Us” and then click the link, “Contact Us”.

We are looking forward to your visit!  Contact us early to be sure of availability!

For persons with disabilities requiring special accommodations, please contact the Santa Rosa County Extension Service at least five (5) working days prior to the program so that proper consideration may be given to the request.
