Spring Turkey Season Opens Saturday March 17th

Spring turkey season arrives March 17th.  This is for gobblers and bearded only and applies to Florida Zones B,C, D except Holmes County.  The spring season runs March 17  to  April 22,  for all legal rifles, shotguns,  muzzleloaders,  crossbows, bows and pistol.

The daily bag limit is one. The season and possession limit on turkeys is two, except in Holmes County, where the season limit is one. Shooting hours on private lands are one-half hour before sunrise to sunset.  To hunt in the spring turkey hunting, you will need a Florida Hunting License and a turkey permit.  You can get this at the county tax collector’s office or call 888-HUNT-Florida.
