All-Star Basketball Game

The 2nd Annual Subway All-Star Basketball Game was held Friday, March 9, 2012 at Pensacola State College.  The West took top honors in both the boys and the girls games.   Local players, Todd Laney of JHS and Gavin Richardson of Central  played for the East team.

It was a night of fun basketball with free popcorn.  During half time of the girls game several players participated in a 3-point shooting contest and during half-time of the boys games fans were entertained by a dunking contest.  The atmosphere in the gym was light-hearted and engaging.  The fans laughed and cheered for both teams.  They oohed and awed over the shanagins  of the players.

The West Boys team defeated the East 88-85.  The West Girls team beat the East team 46-31.
