Jay Royals Drop to TR Miller

A close call at first in the bottom of the seventh inning ended the rally hopes of the Royals. The Royals were able to tie the game in the sixth inning, but were unable to stop the offense of the Tigers.  The Royals have a lot of seniors on the roster but not a lot of starting experience.  “I’m disappointed that we did not play better, it is still early in the season. We, both the boys and the coaching staff, need time to gel.   Chandler did a good job at the plate we just need to be more solid behind him.”, said Head Coach Jorey Diamond.  The Jay High Royals lost to TR Miller 7-4 Tuesday, March 7.

The Royals will host Freeport Friday, March 7 at 6:30 pm. in a district match-up.
