Jay Tennis Continues Winning Streak

The Jay High Tennis team added another win to their record.  The Royals were perfect against the W.S. Neal Eagles.  The boys were 8-0 with Evan Goodson battling in the number 1 seed position and coming out on top 9-7.  “This long match and win, helps Evan become a better player” , said Ch. Melvin Kersey.  About all of the team, “they (the team) continue to improve, never give up and show what they are made of.”  Today, Hillary Hendricks won her  match, as the number 1 seed, in a decisive win 8-3.

In the Girls Sets: Hillary Hendricks 8-3; Emily Russell 8-0; Sarah Whitehead 8-0; Doubles Hillary/Emily 8-0.
