Royals Post Wins in Both Baseball and Softball
The Royals had a good night in sports with both the Boys taking a district win over Baker 5-1 in 8 innings and the Lady Royals defeating Northview in a big win 12-1. The Royals were scoreless until the 5th inning when they tied the Gators at 1-1. In the top of the eight the Royals were able to score 4 runs to win the game. The Royals will travel to Navarre on Friday. The Lady Royals will travel to TR Miller to compete in a Tournament Friday and Saturday.

In the JV games the boys dropped to Baker 6-0 but the JV Lady Royals won over Northview 6-3. Stats for the JV. Lady Royals are: Morgan Kelley 3/3 with 2 runs scored; Desting Herring 3/3 with a triple. Destiny also pitched for 5 innings with 8 strike outs and gave up no earned runs.
