CPOA Hosts Golf Tournament at NAS Whiting Field
The Chief Petty Officer Association at Naval Air Station Whiting Field will host their second annual Chief Petty Officer Birthday golf tournament March 30 at the base golf course. The event is open to the public.
The event celebrates 109 years of service of the Navy Chief Petty Officer, and serves as the organization’s largest fundraiser for the year.
The tournament is a four-man scramble with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. Cost is $40 and includes lunch following completion of play. Non-cash prizes will be provided to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams as well as for the closest to the pin and longest drive contest.
