Gabrielle Danford, a local Central High School student, is facing the unimaginable –She is 15 years old and the recipient of a heart transplant on Saturday, Feb. 11th. Gabrielle lives in Munson, FL with her Aunt and Uncle, Jennifer & Zac Blair. In order to receive the treatment she needs as she recovers from the heart transplant, Gabrielle has to stay hundreds of miles away at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL. With the worries of Gabbie’s heart condition and being miles away from home, the family should not have to worry about financial struggles.
Friends have joined together to sponsor a Co-Ed Softball Tournament. The Tournament will be Saturday, Feb. 25th at the East Milton Ball Park. In order to reserve your team’s slot, text or call Turtle at 850-777-1687. You must enter by February 23rd in order to be eligible to play. The entry fee is $150 per team and the winning team will receive $150.00.
We encourage everyone to come out and enjoy a day filled with softball games, a fish fry & some fun! At noon, we will serve fish plates for $7, which will include fried fish, hushpuppies, coleslaw and cheese grits. We hope to see you there!
