Economic Development Transition Committee Moves Forward

The economic development transition committee, the group tasked by the board of county commissioners with reviewing and making recommendations on the future of economic development in Santa Rosa County , met for the second time on Monday, Feb. 13.   At the meeting, the committee unanimously approved a motion to keep the current corporate structure of TEAM Santa Rosa , EDC. The recommendation would permit the economic development organization to seamlessly continue its mission as the committee reviews the organization. TEAM Santa Rosa will continue to work with current and prospective employers to bring job opportunities to Santa Rosa County . The recommendation will be forwarded to the Santa Rosa Board of County Commissioners for approval.
