People on the Move –Renee Weir, CMPE

Pensacola, Fla. (February 10, 2012) – Baptist Medical Group welcomes Renee Weir, board certified medical practice executive, as operations director. In this role, she is responsible for the operational management of physician and midlevel providers within Baptist’s growing primary care and specialist physician network. Weir will specifically manage, streamline and grow Baptist Medical Group’s primary care and OB/GYN practices in the region. 

Weir brings 17 years of health care management experience and physician-network building expertise to Baptist Medical Group’s administrative team, which has doubled in size over the past 12 months. Nationally, Weir is a member of Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) formally serving as a member of their board of directors. Additionally, Weir holds the prestigious title of Certified Medical Practice Executive, CMPE, which signifies advanced skill and knowledge in the field of medical practice management and positions her to best support the physicians of Baptist Medical Group and the community of patients they serve.
