Kids Pro Night at JES

The Jay Elementary School and the PTO provided a night of fun for the family.  The Kids Pro Show is a program that focuses on character and family values.  The main theme of this year’s show is “I Show Good Character”.  Scott Humston, the creator and entertainer, creates fun and interesting stories to help students and parents know that what you put in, is what comes out when someone pushes your buttons. Jay Elementary had over 100 parents and family members to attend the performance.

Scott concluded the program Thursday night with two songs.  He asked parents which type of parent are you? He began with a version of “Cats in the Cradle” – are you too busy and always saying “not today”?  He closed with his version of “Wind beneath my wings”, showing that to be a real hero to your kids, you have to be there everyday spending time with them, helping them.
