JHS Competition Cheer Team Takes 9th

The Jay High School Competition Cheer Team places 9th in the state finals out of 26 teams in the Class 1A division.  This is the first year that Jay High School had a Competition Cheer  Team.  The girls left on Wednesday afternoon for the long drive to the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, Florida.  They performed on Thursday, Feb. 2 at 2:30.  Only the top 6 teams went on to the finals.  This has been a tremendous year for the team.  They place 3rd in the Regional contest to be able to advance.  Congratulations to all the girls and coaches.  Way to go Royals!!
