Lady Jags Advance to Top 4 in District Play

The Central Lady Jaguars continued to dominate Bethlehem winning 40-25.   Coach Keristen Wright was happy with the win, despite a slow start, ” we had a great defensive effort, but  we need to do a better job on offense.”   Free throws in the first quarter gave the Jags a slim lead that they slowly increased upon. The Jaguars advance to the semi-finals to play Malone at Paxton on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012 at 6 pm.

Stats for the Lady Jags: Makayla Simmons -15 points, 8 rebounds; Sarah Forsythe -10 points; Haleigh Padgett -8 points, 6 rebounds; Brittney Forsythe -4 points, 6 steals and 3 assists; Natelie Jernigan -2 points, 3 steals; Myranda Jernigan -1point.
