Jay Skims by West Florida Tech

The Lady Royals skimmed by West Florida Tech 40-33.   The Royals had a slim lead at the half and then the score was tied in the third, when Coach Rhett Rowell, switched up the defense in the fourth quarter and was able get ahead in the game.  With a lot of distractions during the week with rival games, the last home game of the season and the seniors last home game the girls were not at their best with a low shooting average. The Lady Royals were able to widen the lead by connecting on key free-throws in the last seconds of the game.

Scoring for the Lady Royals were: Hillary Hendricks -16 points, Becca Calloway -14 points, Tessa Hendricks -3 points, Emily Russell -3 points, Carissa Mulford -2 points, and Taylor Moore -2 points.

Scoring for the West Florida Tech Jaguars were: Cici Hatcher -13 points, Kiarra Watts -9 points, Jereaka Ephfram -6 points, Makya Richardson 1 point, Selena Brown -2 Points, and Cori Snow -2 points.
