Royals defeat Northview

The Royals defeated Northview Tuesday night 61-45.  The game was tied at the end of the first quarter but the Royals jumped out in the second and never looked back. 1st (14-14) 2nd (32-21) 3rd (51-32) and 4th (61-45).  Tyler Prescott led the Royals with 17 points and 10 Rebounds followed closely by Todd Laney with 16 points and 9 Rebounds.  Also scoring for the Royals were: Dalton Edwards 11 pts., Tate Upton 2 pts.,  and Eric Travino. 15 pts and  4 steals.

The Royals Boys JV team was not able to contain the Chiefs and fell 52-41.  The Royals had a good run in the 3rd quarter outscoring the Chiefs but it was not enough to put them ahead.  Leading the Royals was Taylor Kelley with 13 points.  Also scoring were: Marshall Thomas -9, Justice Garcia -7, Victor Mishoe -7, Hayden McCaskill -3 and Dakota Cassiday -2 points.
