Cold Weather Shelter Opens

Two cold weather shelters for the homeless will open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights, January 2-4,  in Santa Rosa County:

• Ferris Hill Baptist Church located at 6848 Chaffin Street, Milton
∙  Community Christ Church located at 2111 Presidio Street, Navarre

Those who would like to stay at the shelter must arrive between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. No one will be admitted after 8:30 p.m. unless brought in by law enforcement.  The shelter will close at 7 a.m. each morning.

Florida has a very broad public records law. Under Florida law, both the content of emails and email addresses are public records. If you do not want the content of your email or your email address released in response to a public records request, do not send electronic mail to this entity. Instead, contact this office by phone or in person.
