Fatal Crash on George Leonard Rd. close to Whiting Field Circle.

Timothy L. McCormick, 26, of Milton, FL was killed in a one vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday, December 28 around 9:55.  He was driving a 1987 Chevy pickup northbound on George Leonard Rd north of the intersection with Whiting Field Circle. He allowed his vehicle to enter a shallow ditch on the west side of the roadway. As the truck exited the ditch Timothy accelerated and the pickup began to rotate clockwise. The truck overturned to the left and came to rest upside down, facing south in the southbound lane of George Leonard Rd. According to the Florida Highway Patrol no seatbelts were in use.  There were four passengers in the pickup, they were: Raven Chauvette, 24, of Milton, taken to Santa Rosa Medical with minor injuries;  Ashley Zackowski, 26, of Milton, taken to Santa Rosa Medical with minor injuries; Wesley Brewer, 28, of Milton, had minor injuries; and Richard Randolph, 25, of Pace, with no injuries.
