Royals Have Mixed Wins
The Jay High Royals were in different directions, the boys posted a big win over Northview 54-19, while the girls had a devastating loss 81-47 to Chipley.
Scoring for the Royals in the win against Northview were: Eric Travino -16, Todd Laney – 12, Dalton Edwards -9, Tyler Prescott -8, Brandon Boutwell -6, and Tate Upton -3. Todd Laney and Tyler Prescott had 9 rebounds each.
The JV boys won in overtime. Taylor Kelley hit a shot at the buzzer to push the Royals to a 38-37 win over the Chiefs.
The Lady Royals had a good offensive game but Chipley was unstoppable. Scoring for the Lady Royals were: Hillary Hendricks -13, Tessa Hendricks -12, Becca Calloway -12, Taylor Moore -5, Olivia Wright – 4, and Samantha Steadham -1.
The Junior Varsity won a tight game against Chipley 25-24. Scoring for the Jr. Lady Royals were: Carissa Mulford -13, Morgan Kelley -6, Katie Baker -4 and Dana Blackmon -2.
