Royals Win Jay Christmas Tournament

The Royals take both Championships at the Jay Christmas Tournament.

The Lady Royals won a close one against Central 35-30.  The Lady Royals had a commanding lead at half but the Jaguars would not go easily.   Scoring for the Royals were: Tessa Hendricks -12, Hillary Hendricks -9, Becca Calloway -6 also scoring were Olivia Wright, Emily Russell, and Taylor Moore.

The Royals took on PCA in the boys championship winning 39-37.  Going right to the buzzer the Royals were able to take the Christmas Tourney title out of the hands of PCA.  Scoring for the Royals were: Todd Laney -24, Tyler Prescott -9, Eric Travino -3, Tate Upton -2 and Dalton Edwards -1. Todd Laney and Tyler Prescott, both had 9 rebounds.  Tate Upton had 5 assists and 2 steals.

The Central Jaguars won over Northview to take 3rd in the Christmas Tournament.
