Central/Jay split boys contest
The Jay Jr. High and JV split games with Central Thursday night. The Jay Junior Varsity won against Central in a very close contest 32-31. Scoring for the Royals were: Thomas (Tom-Tom) Fischer-12, Taylor Kelley -10, Justice Garcia -4. Holden McCaskill -2, Marshall Thomas -2 and Victor Mishoe -2.
Scoring for Central: Jesse Jernigan-21 points (7 3pt shots),Justin Abel- 4 points, James Ward- 4 points, Shai Jackson- 1 point, Tristan Ellison- 1 point.
The 9th graders at Central took the game from the Jr. High Royals 36-28.
Scoring for the Royals were: Logan Dobson -9, Logan Smith -6, Dakota Cassady -5, Jay Carnley – 4, and Stephen Archer -4.
