Winning Freddy

In the month of September, Jay Elementary PTO had a fundraiser, the Charleston Wrap sale.   Everyone was anxious to go to a special party the PTO promised to the students who sold at least one item.  When the students finished selling they would bring the packet back to the school.  Mrs. Nelson’s 5th grade class earned a reward during the sale, that not all classes earned.  It was Freddy the Frog.  When he had to go to a different classroom all the students were sad, but also determined to win him again. Of course, they did !  One student states, “I will never forget the time we won Freddy, and helped our school raise money.”
