Jay Comes Up Short to West Florida Tech

The Jay Royals came up short in the Championship game against West Florida Tech 32-35.  The Royals had a balanced scoring attack but just ran out of time.  Eric Travino was selected to the All Tournament Team representing Jay.

Scoring for the Royals: Todd Laney 11, Eric Travino 6, Tate Upton 5, Dalton Edwards 6 and Tyler Prescott 6.  Tyler Prescott also had 9 Rebounds.

Coach Lance Youngblood said, ” I am very pleased with where we  are in the season, the boys are playing hard and we are looking forward to district play. ”  The Royals will open District play against Northview on Tuesday night at Northview.
