Jay/Central Lose Season Openers

Jay drops one to Laurel Hill in the opening game of the Tip-Off Tournament 43-49.  Jay had been down at one point by over 15 points and rallied back to within 8.  Scoring for the Royals were:  Todd Laney – 17,  Tyler Prescott – 13, Tate Upton – 8, Keith Lisonbee – 2, Dalton Edwards – 2, and Hayden McCaskill -1.  The Royals will face Florala on Friday,   November 18th at 7:30 pm  in the Baker Gym to conclude their portion of the Tip-Off Tournament

Jay vs Laurel Hill

Central scored first in the game against Baker but came in short at the end  40-48.  The abundance of fouls called during the game (over 35) showed that this was a fierce physical battle.  Scoring for the Jaguars were:Nick Waters -13, Brad Gaines – 13, Gavin Richardson -6, Dalton Wright -4,  Zac Perry – 2, and Victor Dixon – 2.  Central will play Florala on Saturday November 19th at 6 pm in the Baker Gym as the first game in the last day of play at the Tip-Off Tournament.
