Central XC Teams Qualify for Regionals

The Central Cross Country Teams qualified for Regionals.  The Boys XC Team came in 2nd at the District 1 meet held at Simms Middle School Saturday, November 5th.   This is a first in the history of the Cross Country Team at Central School.  Ch. Nick Golden is excited to be taking the boys to the Regional Meet that will be held at Alligator Park in Lake City on Saturday, November 12th.  Kyle Fuller was the only boy to qualify on a individual level.  Kyle came in 9th overall.

The Lady Jaguars were surprised to win the 3rd spot in the girls race.  Central had 3 girls place in the top 15 runners.   Both Erica Waters(22:58) and Kennedy Fuller (23:04) qualified for the regional meet as individuals. Other times for the Lady Jaguars were:  Beth Smith 23:43, 14th; Brandi Bradley 26:16, 30th; and Allaina Morrow 27:50, 40th.

This is a  historic day for the Jaguars to have both the girls and boys cross country teams to advance to the next level.  Way to Go!!  Check out the gallery below for all the runners.
