Snapshot Day @ Your Library
The Santa Rosa County Library System will participate in the second Florida Library Association Snapshot Day on Wednesday, November 2. Snapshot Day is a great opportunity to celebrate libraries and increase awareness about our services and resources! We will collect statistics, stories, and photographs showing “a day in the life” of your library.
All Santa Rosa County Libraries will join libraries across Florida in taking pictures and collecting statistics and members’ comments showing how Floridians are utilizing their libraries that day. The FLA will then collect the results and post them online. The Florida Library Association, in partnership with the Division of Library and Information Services will be posting the results on the FLA website www.flalib.org , where everyone can see these powerful stories.
One library’s pictures and statistics may be small but the results from the entire state are very impactful. Visit your library on November 2, and help us complete our mosaic for library advocacy. The Santa Rosa County Library System is a department of the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners . Libraries are located in Gulf Breeze, Jay, Milton , Navarre , and Pace.
