Central’s Jernigan knocked out of play-offs

Jesse Jernigan was knocked out of the play-offs in the Regional golf tournament Tuesday Oct. 25th. Jesse finished strong but was unable to overcome some early round woes. It was a very “unusual” day for him. “He struggled to get it going early and at this point in the playoffs if you don’t shoot well fom beginning to end you will find yourself out of contention real quick.”, said Ch. Roberts. Jesse had a great year finishing low medalist in 4 out of 5 Matches. He is young , only a 9th grader and expectations are high for his game to improve. Coach Roberts stated that he will be watching to see what he can accomplish in the next three years.
