Chumuckla Reads for the Record
On Thursday, October 6, 2011, students, faculty and staff of Chumuckla Elementary School dressed in their cutest pajamas to celebrate Jumpstart’s Read For The Record Campaign for Literacy Awareness, joining millions of people across the nation in reading Llama Llama Red Pajama by Anna Dewdney. Students sat back and watched over the school’s ITV system as Ms. Darla Dunn, Guidance Counselor, turned the pages of the electronic book and listened as Media Specialist, Mrs. Brenda Brosnaham read the story live.
