Proposed Redistricting Public Hearing
The Santa Rosa County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing to receive public input and to adopt the proposed new commission district boundaries on Thursday, October 13 at 9:30 a.m. in the commission meeting room located at 6495 Caroline Street in Milton . The Santa Rosa County Board of Commissioners, along with all levels of government, is required to adjust the boundaries of the county commission districts following each decennial federal census to ensure fair representation. Adjustments to the boundaries are made to ensure that the population is divided as evenly as possible into the commission districts.
