Jaguars Defeat Chiefs

Central Jaguars scalped the Northview Chiefs in three straight games in Tuesday’s court action.  The scores were 25-21, 25-14, and 25-22.  In the first game Sarah Forsythe, helped the Lady Jaguars by serving up 8 straight points.   To finish the second game #21, Haleigh Padgett, put an easy tap over the net.  The third and final game had numerous lead changes and was tied 22 all when the Jaguars won the serve and were able to score the last three points.  Coach Melissa Baxley, is proud of the team for playing together to get the win.  “The most impressive stat for me is Assists” says, Coach Baxley.  She attributes the success the ladies are experiencing to the teamwork she sees on and off the court.

Key players for the Lady Jaguars were: Sarah Forsythe -8 Aces, 6 Kills, 10 Assists; Myranda Jernigan – 4 Aces, 7 Assists; and Brittany Forsythe – 7 Kills.

The JV had a harder time getting started and lost in two games.  25-7 and 25-22.
