Lady Royals unseat the Knights
Jay defeated the Rocky Bayou Knights in three straight games, the scores were 25-17, 25-23, and 25-16. Leading the Lady Royals Emily Russell had 3 kills, Tessa Hendricks 2 kills, and 3 Aces; Emily Dobson had 2 kills; and Sydney Lowery with 3 kills. The Lady Royals displayed teamwork in the decisive win.
Jay’s Junior Varsity shut down the Knights in two consecutive games scoring 25-14, and 25-7. Helping the Royals to the top were Dana Blackmon with 2 Aces and 1 kill, Morgan Kelley with 1 Ace and 1 Kill, Megan Mulford with 2 Assists, and Kennedy Salter with 1 Dig.
