Lady Royals Cross Country 1st CC Meet

The Jay High Lady Royals placed 6th among 15 schools at the Patriot Invitational Cross Country meet held at Simms Middle School this past Saturday. The meet was hosted by Pace High School and included high schools from the Escambia, Santa Rosa, and Okaloosa counties in Florida. 160 runners participated, and the Royals had three runners to place in the top 20. They were Jessica Thornton, Jorja Agrait, and Allison Blair. Rounding out the top five for the Royals were Ally Settle and Savannah Brown. Several of the Royals set new personal records. The Royals will run again this next Saturday at the Washington Wildcat Invitational which will be held at the Pensacola Equestrian Center.
