Jay Defeats Escambia Academy
The Jay JV Lady Volleyball team overcame a deficit in the first game 25-21 to win the match. By controlling the next two games 25-15 and 15-11 the girls were able to take the win.
The Varsity Lady Royals hammered the Cougars with the best two out of three in two straight matches. The first match went in favor of the Royals with a combination of 25-17 and 25-18. The second match ended in a closer contest with the first game 25-18 and the second 27-25. Tessa Hendricks led the team with 9 kills, Emily Russell had 6 kills and Sydni Lowery had 1.
The Lady Royals will travel to Allentown to meet the Jaguars on Tuesday, September 13 at 4 pm and 5 pm. The Jr. Varsity and Varsity will play.
