Berrydale Baptist Honors First Responders

Reverend Robert Gandy, along with the congregation of Berrydale Baptist Church honored the area’s First Responders Sunday, Sept. 11th. The special service was held in rememberance of one of our country’s worst tragedies. Firemen and women, and EMS personnel from Whiting Field, Berrydale, Munson and Allentown joined the congregation. Each respective department was asked to stand and were acknowledged with applause, handshakes, and a group prayer. Included in the day’s events were prayers for all of our country’s First Responders as well as for the victims and families of 9/11. A luncheon was provided by the church members for our area’s heroes.
