Royals Cross Country Open Season
The Royals Cross Country season opener was held Pace Sims Middle bright and early. The Pace Invitational started with the Girls racing at 7:00 and guys at 7:45. Coach Teresa Hendricks reminded the team, ” In the words of the great Coach Mac “I CAN! I WILL!! I WANT TO!!!”
The boys did good for first season race. Micah Kemp was lead runner for our guys with a time of 18:19 and 18th place. There were over 160 competing in each race. The times for the team were: Cody Wolfe time: 22:09; Casey Zylstra time 22:10; Mark Foley 23:27; Damian Rogers time: 23:43. Photo below courtesy of Teresa Hendricks.
